Built-In FM Radio

Listen to your favorite radio stations with Magellan’s built-in FM radio. With its crisp quality sound you can listen to music and store up to 15 radio stations in memory. The system can have your radio turn on automatically whenever you arm your system to make it sound like someone is always home.

Hands-Free Telephone

Your security system can be used as a handsfree telephone. Dial out or answer incoming phone calls by using Magellan’s built-in speakerphone.

High Quality Voice and Sound

Have your system status provided to you in a clear, crisp voice using digital 8-bit sound. Don’t memorize zones— Magellan’s voice assistance will tell you if your front door is open. Magellan can also give you a vocal
countdown to let you know how long you have before your system is activated. Select music or your standard “beep” sound for all delays— both of which can be programmed with Magellan’s user-friendly menus.

Family Message Center

Use your security system as a message center to leave a reminder or note to someone coming home later. You can record your message with one touch or you can call Magellan from any phone to leave a message. A flashing light indicates that a message is waiting— just push a button and listen to your message in a crisp, high-quality voice.

With Magellan you can check your system status 3 different ways. Have your status told to you by voice, text message or a flashing light.

Alarm Clock
Set Magellan’s fully featured alarm clock to wake you by beeping, playing a selectable tune or turning on the radio — it’s easy, Magellan can sit right on your bedside table. And don’t worry, there’s a snooze button for those early mornings too!

Home Automation (X10)

With Magellan’s X10 home automation support you can control your home’s lights, heat, air conditioning and almost any other compatible product.

2-Way Remote Control Operation
The optional 2-way remote allows you to arm, disarm, and receive system status. This remote has a total of 6 different functions and it communicates system status using visual and auditory signals. Now you can see and hear your alarm system status, adjust the radio, control your garage door, send a panic signal and more.

Chiming

Set Magellan’s chimes to sound as soon as your door opens. You can choose between selectable tunes, voice or beeping to notify you of such an action.
